California & Metro Forecast

The California and Metro Forecast is a comprehensive, quarterly forecast of the California Economy and 10 metropolitan areas in northern California. Metropolitan areas covered by the forecast include; Modesto, Merced, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Stockton, and Vallejo. A news release that summarizes the findings of the latest forecast is available below.

Subscribers receive the complete quarterly forecasts for the state and each metro area, in addition to historical data for each area. Each forecast also includes commentary and insight on the key trends shaping the state and regional economy in addition to data for employment by economic sectors, personal income and wages, housing starts, population, unemployment rates and more. We also offer the tables and charts presented in each quarterly forecast and historical data in Excel format upon request.

A one-year subscription to the quarterly forecast is $250, and small businesses can receive a 50% discount. We also provide a two-year subscription offered at a 10% discount and a three-year subscription at a 20% discount. New subscribers immediately receive an electronic copy of the most recently released forecast and will receive electronic and print copies of the next 4 quarterly forecasts.
