California & Metro Forecast

The California and Metro Forecast is a comprehensive, quarterly forecast of the California Economy and 10 metropolitan areas in northern California. Metropolitan areas covered by the forecast include; Modesto, Merced, Santa Cruz, Fresno, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Stockton-Lodi, and Vallejo-Fairfield. A news release that summarizes the findings of the latest forecast is available below.

Subscribers receive 5 quarterly forecasts for the state and each metro area, in addition to historical data for each area. Each forecast also includes commentary and insight on the key trends shaping the state and regional economy in addition to data for employment by economic sectors, personal income and wages, housing starts, population, unemployment rates and more. We also offer the tables and charts presented in each quarterly forecast in excel spreadsheet format upon request.

A one-year subscription to the quarterly forecast is $250. We also provide a two-year subscription offered at a 10% discount and a three-year subscription at a 20% discount. Additionally, we are able to offer subscriptions at 50% off the normal price to small businesses thanks to support from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Lastly, your organization can become a sponsor of the Business Forecasting Center at the Silver level ($2,500) or the Gold level ($5,000) and enjoy additional benefits, such as your logo appearing inside the front cover of the forecast and on our website and additional electronic and print copies of the forecast.
