The Economic Impact of Non-Profit Organizations on the San Joaquin Economy

The role of an individual non-profit organization perhaps goes unnoticed.  As a group, however, their role proves to be significant.  More than 150 non-profit organizations exist in San Joaquin County, serving thousands of clients every year.  This study examines the economic impact of non-profit organizations’ spending on the San Joaquin County economy.  The study finds that all participating non-profit organizations combined generate over $200 million in output impact.
